The Multicultural Association Chaleur Region is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to welcoming newcomers from other countries arriving in our region. In addition of hosting an active program of multicultural activities throughout the year, MACR provides settlement, integration and employment services on an individual and group basis for newcomers to Canada.

Job description

The selected candidate will assist by participating in the organization of activities and projects, by performing various administrative tasks such as: logistic and organization of the Multicultural Association, this job will be for 8 to 12 weeks starting as soon as possible.

Requirements: The perfect candidate will possess:

• Business Administration Student or related fields.

• Excellent relationship building skills.

• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills in both French and English

• The capability to thrive a team environment.

• Ability to use Ms Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work with children

Other requirements:

The selected candidate must be qualified for the Canada Summer Jobs Program, aged 30 years old and under and must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
